Fancy more red Hondas? Well then, Honda Malaysia has announced the availability of a brand new red colour scheme option for the CR-V, City and Jazz – Passion Red Pearl.

Looks familiar? It’s the same one found in the HR-V RS, BR-V Special Edition, as well as the racy Civic Type-R Mugen Concept shown at the recent Malaysia Autoshow 2019.

In case you were wondering, the new colour option does see Honda deleting the Carnival Red, Dark Ruby Red, and Obsidian Blue options offered previously in the Jazz, City and CR-V models respectively.

According to Honda, the move was made in light of the fact that the colour scheme proved to be very popular amongst Malaysians. In fact, a total of 30 percent of the newly refreshed HR-V were sold in said colour.

Up to this point, the only models Honda Malaysia hasn’t offered a red colour option for are the Accord, Odyssey and of course the Civic Type-R (officially, just Championship White is available for Malaysia), but we’re not complaining.

Surely, that’s one way a car company can paint the town red… right?
