Mechanically, both variants are identical as they come with Jaguar-designed electric motors at each axle, producing 400 PS and 696 Nm of torque as well as an all-wheel drive system.
Equipped with a 90kWh battery, both variants of the I-PACE have a range of up to 470km.
owners can enjoy significantly faster charging when connected to an 11kW wall box, as it can achieve 53km of WLTP range per hour, and a full charge from empty-to-full which only takes 8.6 hours, making it ideal for overnight charging at home.
In terms of performance, the I-PACE accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and does a 400 m sprint in 12.4 seconds. The model also has a water-wading depth rating of 500 mm.
On the exterior, highlights include a coupe-like silhouette inspired by the Jaguar C-X75 supercar, which features a short, low bonnet, an aero-enhanced roof design, and a curved rear screen.
The list of standard equipment includes LED headlights with LED DRLs, LED taillights, sequential turn signals, flush door handles, aerodynamic wheels, a striking front grille, as well as a sporty rear air diffuser on the rear bumper.
Inside, we have full leather upholstery, the latest Pivi Pro infotainment system with a 12.3-inch high-definition virtual instrument cluster, as well as 10-inch and 5-inch upper and lower touchscreens featuring multi-function haptic rotary controllers.
On top of all of the above, the I-PACE HSE variant gets three additional features which are the Meridian premium audio system, leather sports seats, and an air suspension system.
That being said, the all-new Jaguar I-PACE comes with a comprehensive warranty coverage period of 5 years or 150,000km, whichever comes first, and 3 years of roadside assistance.
It also includes complimentary servicing for up to 5 years or 102,000km as well as a Battery Electric Vehicle traction battery warranty of up to 8 years or 160,000km, whichever comes first.
Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia is also giving away a free RM1,000 credit on their DC GoToU app for orders collected during the launch period until 28th May 2023, enabling users to easily view charging locations along their drives.
