Here are two new Mini Countryman Sports variants
Mini welcomed two new variants of the Countryman, both underpinning the existing Cooper S Sports variant. The first of which comes brimmed with the Blackline Package whilst the other gets a Panoramic Sunroof.
We’ll start with latter and, aptly, this one sees the Countryman Cooper S Sports get equipped with a powered panoramic sunroof feature that’s not available in the regular Countryman Cooper S Sports variant it’s based upon.
Next to that comes the Countryman Cooper S Sports with Blackline Package. Aptly, again, this one gets Mini’s blacked-out exterior treatment. Exterior elements such as the badges, grille, door handles as well as the headlight and taillight trimmings are now finished in Piano Black instead of chrome.
Additionally, the Countryman Cooper S Sports with Blackline Package gets a distinguishing black-finished roof over its British Racing Green or Light White paint options it is offered exclusively in.
These aside, much of base Countryman Cooper S Sports’s features are retained. Both still harness a 2.0-litre turbo 4cyl and 7spd DCT powertrain package delivering 189bhp and 280Nm to the front wheels, which in turn allows 0-100kph done in 7.5 secs, a 225kph claimed V-Max, and 6.6 litres/100km claimed fuel economy.
Other bits present include LED lighting, 19-inch JCW wheels, JCW aerokit, dual-zone climate control, Carbon Black upholstery, illuminated Mini Yours Piano Black trim, premium 12-speak Harman Kardon hi-fi, as well as the 8.8-inch infotainment display with both navigation and connectivity-enabled functions present.
Like what you see in the Blackline Package offering? Then you’d best hurry to book one now as it is limited to just 38 units. Each will command a price tag of RM243,280.38* excluding insurance costs.
The Panoramic Sunroof variant, on the other hand, is NOT a limited run special, and it’s priced at RM248,280.38* sans insurance. Included in both prices is Mini’s four-year, unlimited mileage warranty coverage with free scheduled service and five-year roadside assistance.
