Ducati Diavel 1260 S goes 'Black and Steel' for 2022
If you're a fan of Harimau Malaya or Wiz Khalifa's "Black and Yellow" song, then the latest 2022 Ducati Diavel 1260 S "Black and Steel" will definitely bring some thunder if you love this particular colour combo. Combining glossy grey with matt black and yellow highlights, it certainly brings a new presentation for Ducati's one and only power cruiser.
Inspired by the Diavel "Materico" concept presented back in 2019, the new Ducati Diavel 1260 S "Black and Steel" offers another rendition of sportiness into the current Diavel line-up. This colour combo certainly carries a very sporty facade and a good option to have, especially for those who weren't able to get their hands on the limited edition Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini model.
As you can see in the photos, the main colours are presented in a combination of glossy grey and matt black, followed by yellow highlights on the frame, lower tail part, and little dabs on the belly pan and wheels. Very sporty, but at the same time, very classy as well.
According to Andrea Ferraresi, Centro Stile Ducati director, "We are really pleased to present this new version in Milan, a city that has always represented a world benchmark in this sector. The Diavel 1260 S “Black and Steel” is a bike that does not go unnoticed. Its asymmetrical graphics, the contrast between matt black, grey and touches of yellow have been designed to enhance the power, design and sportiness of this bike."
Powering all that muscle is a 1,262cc Testastretta DVT engine that produces 162hp at 9,500rpm and 129Nm of torque at 7,500rpm. It's also fitted with all the latest Ducati electronic riding aids and the specs that separate it from the base Ducati Diavel 1260 model are the additions of Öhlins suspension package, Marchesini forged rims and Daytime Running Light (DRL) headlight.
