Alongside the launch of the new MINI Electric model, MINI Malaysia also took the opportunity to introduce the new MINI Cooper S range in the form of the MINI 3 Door, MINI 5 Door, and MINI Convertible for the local market. The latest variants come with a few 'comprehensive and progressive' updates in terms of design as well as equipment fitted as standard.

At the core of its design DNA, the new MINI offerings still carry that instantly recognisable MINI style and stance, but the exterior for all three models have gone through a slight facelift thanks to a new front design, side scuttles, redesigned rear apron, and light-alloy wheels to form a fresher facade.

The most outstanding feature for all three models is the new sleek front grille that forms an unbroken hexagon. They are also fitted with a new front bumper with newly integrated air curtains and new High Gloss Black inner housing for the fog lights. There are also some details finished in Piano Black Exterior such as the door handles and exhaust tailpipes, and a wider rear bumper embedded with new rear fog lamps that further increases the vehicle's overall sporty design.

Step inside in any of the new MINI 3 Door, 5 Door, or Convertible and you'll find a redesigned steering wheel that comes with integrated button controls flushed to the surface and finished in Piano Black. You'll also find a refreshed cockpit decor panel with newer and enlarged designs to make the overall look more modern and up-to-date whilst maintaining MINI's signature cabin design cues.

Other new interior features include a new generation central instrument cluster that includes a larger 8.8-inch display with Navigation and Apple CarPlay, new 5.0-inch Digital Instrument Cluster, new MINI Ambient Light with six different colour choices, and other minor details to offer a 'refreshed interior atmosphere'. These you'll find in all three new Cooper S models launched by MINI Malaysia.

In terms of firepower, the new MINI 3 Door, 5 Door, and Convertible are fitted with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder MINI TwinPower Turbo engine that produces 192hp and 20Nm of torque. Handling all that power down to the wheels is a seven-speed Dual Clutch Sports Automatic transmission that's able to propel the new MINIs to a maximum speed of 235km/h (230km/h for the MINI Convertible).

MINI Malaysia has priced the new MINI 3 Door, 5 Door, and Convertible at RM253,318.69, RM261,005.83, and RM274,360.46 respectively (OTR prices with Sales Tax exemption, without insurance). Customers can choose between White Silver, Island Blue, Chili Red, British Racing Green and Rooftop Grey for the new MINI 3 Door and 5 Door (complete with Jet Black Roof and Black Bonnet Stripes) whereas the Convertible is available in Zesty Yellow, White Silver, Island Blue, Chili Red, and British Racing Green (complete with MINI Yours Softtop).
