2021 BMW G 310 R, G 310 GS, or G 310 GS '40 Years Edition'?

Together with the launch of the new 2021 BMW G 1250 GS models, BMW Motorrad Malaysia also slid in the new 2021 BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS into the mix. The brand's most affordable motorcycle options now come with some visual enhancements as well as some mechanical upgrades for an improved riding experience no matter which model you're particularly into.

Essentially, these models carry the same design DNA as their bigger and more powerful siblings, the BMW R 1250 GS and BMW S 1000 R. All three models are fitted with the same 313cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC engine which produces 34hp and 28Nm of torque. The power unit has been improved by adding an electromotive throttle controller and anti-hopping clutch for greater ease of operation.

They also come with a new set of full-LED headlights that enhances brightness and illumination thanks to three available light functions - low beam, high beam, and daytime running lights. They're also fitted with new metallic titanium grey engine housing covers, but they'll be in the black/yellow combo if you opt for the BMW G 310 GS '40 Years Edition'. If you want this particular model, better be quick about it as there are only 40 units available for the Malaysian market.

If you're into the black and yellow theme, worry not as the new BMW G 310 GS is also available in Kyanite Blue Metallic (Style Rallye) and Polar White, along with Cosmic Black. The new BMW G 310 R, however, comes in Limestone Metallic (Style Sport). Prices start from RM27,500 to RM31,500 (OTR excluding insurance).
