The Toyota C-HR has made its first appearance in Malaysia at the Setia City Convention Centre after its global launch in 2016. The C-HR is the second vehicle that has been developed with the TNGA platform. TNGA, which refers to Toyota New Global Architecture, is part of Toyota's company-wide program to structurally transform automobile design in line with the company's goal of making ever-better cars.

There is no official word that the C-HR will be introduced into the local market but looking at how Toyota’s competitors (read: Honda) have enjoyed so much success with their own HR-V, it’s only a matter of time before UMW Toyota Motors introduce it here.
