The Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show earlier in September this year, and now it has been unveiled here in Malaysia by Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur.

As its name suggests, the highlight of the Huracán Spyder is the absence of a fixed roof. In its place is an electrohydraulically operated lightweight soft top with the ability to open in just 17 seconds, even while driving at speeds of up to 50kph.

The Huracán's structure has also been enhanced with aluminium and carbon fibre components to provide an improved torsional stiffness of up to 40% over its Gallardo predecessor. Combined with its 610hp 5.2-litre V10 powerplant and 7-speed LDF dual-clutch transmission with all-wheel drive, the Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder will hit a 100kph in 3.4 seconds, 0-200kph in 10.2 seconds, and max out a top speed of 324kph.

A tentative price tag of RM1.35mil (before duty) puts it at a desirable advantage over the likes of its competitors, like the recently previewed McLaren 570S. With this one though you can drop the top and enjoy the, quoting Lamborghini, "performance and lifestyle under the open sky."
