The Proton Exora, Malaysia's first home-grown multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), has been given a facelift for 2015 along with a new variant dubbed the Proton Exora Super Premium (SP), which replaces the Prime variant. All other existing variants of the Proton Exora will be given a new look as well.

The SP variant will be powered by Proton's 1.6-litre turbo CFE engine, the same as the Premium and Executive variants. The Premium and Super Premium will also be enhanced with four airbags (extra side airbags), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Daytime Running Lights (DRL).

Dato' Abdul Harith Abdullah, CEO of Proton, further announced that the new Proton Exora facelift range will receive further reduction of the price "by as much as 5.8% or RM4,710 in line with the Government plans to reduce the prices of cars."

Seven colours are available for the new Exora: Solid White, Elegant Brown, Cocoa Grey, Genetic Silver and Tranquility Black while Luxury Blue and Indiana Grey are two new colours introduced for the new Exora models.
