After a near seven-year hiatus, Japan’s longest-running premier touring car championship, the Autobacs Super GT series, returns to Malaysia this year at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC).
The event’s official announcement took place this week during a special press conference jointly held by event promoters Haro Sports & Entertainment and the GT Association Ltd of Japan – Super GT’s parent company.
Malaysia will host Round 5 of the Autobacs Super GT 2020 championship, standing as the series’s second overseas venue outside Japan this year besides the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand.

This will be held in SIC’s Mall Area and will feature a wide array of displays by leading manufacturers, automotive brands, after market specialists, lifestyle products, car clubs and enthusiasts.
Present in this Auto Expo too is leading manufacturer UMW Toyota Malaysia and they will hold a special Predict and Win competition exclusively for ticket holders. The grand prize here is a brand new Toyota GR Supra worth RM568k plus other special prizes.
