What's this? A new Suzuki GSX-S1000 naked bike?

By sep, 06 April 2021

Suzuki Global just dropped an unexpected bomb with its latest video clip teasing the arrival of the 2021 Suzuki GSX-S1000 naked bike. According to the YouTube video posted below, the new Suzuki 1,000cc naked bike will be officially launched globally on 26 April 2021.

Captioned with "The Beauty of Naked Aggression", the new GSX-S1000 will most likely come with a brand new design that's...well...aggressive. We can some sharp lines from its sculpted fuel tank, and up front, a triple LED headlight setup that's very modern indeed.

You can also see a pair of small winglets or 'aerofairings' on the side, which brings it up to date with the latest powerful naked bikes like the sexy Ducati Streetfighter V4. We can also see that the colour offering is the iconic Suzuki blue and grey combo, a colour that symbolizes the brand's 100th anniversary in the business.

As for firepower, we're sure hoping that its 999cc inline-four engine will be significantly upgraded to match closer with its full-fairing sibling, the GSX-R1000R. That superbike from Suzuki produces 199hp and 117Nm of torque, which is a lot higher than the current-gen GSX-S1000, which only has around 147hp and 108Nm of torque.

You can also expect a lot of electronic riding aids like advanced traction control, bi-directional quickshifter, cornering ABS, and fingers crossed, launch control. For now, we'll just have to keep calm and wait for its official global introduction on 26 April 2021. Stay tuned for more updates.
