What's the best-selling Lamborghini model of Q1 2022?

By sep, 15 April 2022

Lamborghini sold over 2,500 units in Q1, half of it is the Urus

The first quarter of 2022 has been a blast for Lamborghini as they celebrate its best-ever quarter with a total of 2,539 vehicles delivered around the globe. Compared to the same period in 2020 and 2021, that figure is 31% and 5% higher respectively. Looks like they'll be popping those champagne bottles sooner than expected.

Almost all the markets saw quite a sales growth, apart from Russia for obvious reasons (they've suspended its business operations in the country until further notice). Lamborghini also reported that almost half of the sales in the first quarter of 2022 were just for the Urus super SUV.

The other half is mostly Huracans and Aventadors due to the fact that customers are quickly sweeping up all the final V12 units before reaching the end of its production cycle. The premium Italian manufacturer expects these figures to jump even more as they anticipate the arrival of three new models in the second half of 2022 - two Urus variants and one Huracan.

That's going to be quite a hill to climb considering that 2021 was Lamborghini's best year ever for sales, turnover, and profitability. Until then, you can expect more exciting models in the pipeline, just like the one that recently arrived here in Malaysia, the Lamborghini Aventador LP-780-4 Ultimae.
