Vespa wins Webby Award for best 'Car Sites & Culture' website

By sep, 20 May 2021

2021 has been a good year for Vespa. Celebrating its 75th year anniversary as well as producing over 19 million scooters so far, they've now added another achievement to its ever-growing list. This time around, it's a Webby Award for the best “Websites and Mobile Sites: Car Sites & Car Culture” category.

The awards were presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), and according to the New York Times, the Webby Awards are regarded as the 'Internet's highest honour'. In this day and age, that's actually a remarkable achievement. Around 13,500 candidates from 70 countries participated where they've managed to collect over 2.2 million votes.

According to Claire Graves, Executive Director of The Webby Awards, "Vespa.com sets a new standard in innovation and creativity on the Internet. This award recognises the ability, ingenuity, and international vision of the Piaggio Group, of which the Vespa brand is a part." To find out for yourself, head over to www.vespa.com to know more.
