Vespa is commemorating its 75th anniversary with the launch of a very special series and will only be sold in 2021. Those looking for a very unique Vespa Primavera or GTS can go for these limited beauties that come with exclusive liveries, special finishes, brand new seats, and chrome-plated luggage racks specifically created to celebrate this momentous occasion.

Compactly called the Vespa 75th, this limited edition will be available starting this month in stages around the globe as well as different offerings for the Vespa Primavera (50cc, 125cc, and 150cc) and Vespa GTS (125cc and 300cc). As stated above, it’ll only be sold this year and if they do come here in Malaysia, you can expect to see the Primavera 150 and GTS 300 in the 75th-anniversary colours.

The Vespa 75th models come with the “Giallo 75th” original metallic yellow colour that pays homage to the brand’s heritage dating back to the 1940s. Future owners will also get the number 75 displayed on the side panels and front mudguard in a slightly darker shade, which presents a very classy scooter with an elegant two-tone paintwork.

To round things off, the Vespa 75th also comes with a special nubuck leather saddle, as well as grey piping and wheels with a diamond finish. If you love chrome, you’ll find that extensively throughout these babies, especially on the front tie ornaments, badge, instrument cluster, muffler cover, and many more. Other additions include a round nubuck leather bag that brings the whole look together.

Each Vespa 75th unit will come with a ‘Welcome Kit’ that comprises of an elegant Italian jacquard-silk scarf with handsewn hems, a vintage steel Vespa plate, a personal Owner’s Book and eight collector postcards with images from the eight decades of the Vespa story. Quite a classy way to celebrate a huge anniversary, eh? Very Italian.
