UMW Toyota closed Q1 with over 22,000 units sold

By sep, 12 April 2022

8,386 units for Toyota, 101 units for Lexus just for last month

UMW Toyota is continuing its positive upwards sales trend by closing off the first quarter of 2021 with 22,447 units successfully sold and delivered under the Toyota and Lexus banners.

March was also an exceptional month as a total of 8,487 units were sold following the previous month of February with 6,432 units (figures for both Toyota and Lexus put together). In other words, that's a 32% increase. Not a bad way to earn that Raya bonus, eh?

According to Mr. Ravindran K., President of UMW Toyota Motor, "We are constantly reviewing and adapting to the changing circumstances and uncertainties. Toyota has always been known for our proficiency in supply chain management and risk mitigation measures. Leveraging on these experiences, we are working closely with our suppliers and monitoring the developments closely to ensure minimal impact to our production and our customers."

"As Malaysia transitions towards the endemic phase, UMW Toyota Motor is appreciative of the support we have received from our customers throughout these unprecedented times.
