Toyota to reproduce spare parts for AE86 Corolla Levin & Sprinter Trueno
The GR Heritage Parts Project has extended its offerings for the AE86 clan
Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) will be expanding its GR Heritage Parts Project to cater to a couple more legendary Toyota models, the AE86 Corolla Levin and Sprinter Trueno (launch date May 1983). These reproduced parts will go on sale in Japan as well as overseas beginning today.
What started out as a project to reproduce discontinued genuine parts for the Supra, 2000GT, and Land Cruiser has led to more demands, and one of them is for the AE86 family. For now, all you "hachi-roku" enthusiasts can get your hands on some original brake calipers and steering knuckle arms. In December, new rear driveshafts will go into limited production as well.
Just like the other car models within the GR Heritage Parts Project, these said parts will only be produced for a limited period. As for availability, it'll be on a 'while stocks last' basis. If you're looking to restore your AE86 and looking for the parts mentioned above, better be quick about it.
