Heads up Vespa fans and collectors, authorised distributors Naza Premira Sdn Bhd had just made three special edition offerings available locally.
Leading the bill here is the Vespa 946 Red, followed by the Sprint Carbon and Sei Giorni. Here’s what’s in store with each:
The retro-futurist and premium-priced 946 isn’t new, but this all-red special is. Unlike the base 946, this variant aptly dons the striking red hue on its steel body, as well as its aluminium mudguard, side, engine and transmission covers too.
Retained is the base Vespa 946’s modern air-cooled 150cc four-stroke single-cylinder and twist-and-go CVT automatic transmission, the former boasting a three-valve setup and electronic fuel injection.
Equally modern too are this premium scooter’s safety features. Brimmed as standard is Vespa’s Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR) traction control and dual-channel ABS suites, promising enhanced control over this stylish scooter.
Available exclusively in red, this stylish premium offering commands a princely RM66,000 base price – ouch!
Vespa 946 Red
Should the 946 Red we detailed above be just simply too pricey, then this blacked-out version of the popular Vespa Sprint, dubbed the Sprint Carbon, is a far cry in contrast with its more ‘grouded’ RM17,400 base price tag.
Renowned amongst enthusiasts as Vespa’s lightweight and sporty small-body offering with a distinct squared headlamp design, the Sprint Carbon special enhances that provenance further by donning an exclusive and very racy all-black colourway.
Based off the existing Vespa Sprint, this sporty classic harnesses Vespa’s current generation and Euro 4-compliant 150cc i-Get air-cooled single-cylinder mill for propulsion, along with a twist-and-go CVT automatic.
Beyond style and efficient performance, the Sprint Carbon’s kit list features ABS brakes and a nifty USB charging port, thus making this a safe and very practical premium offering for the discerning urban commuters too.

Capping the trio off is the racy Sei Giorni special. This exclusive variant of the big-bodied GTS model is set apart by its distinct and unique green colourway that’s inspired by the famed “Sei Giorni Internazionale di Varese” rally.
Completing this heritage look are several unique traits like the racing number decal at the rear quarter, the repositioned headlight on the front mudguard, not forgetting both the uniquely designed flyscreen and ribbed seat saddle to boot.
To match the racy looks, the Sei Giorni packs a punchy liquid-cooled 300cc single-cylinder quad-valve mill that outputs 21.2hp and 22Nm to the rear wheel via a twist-and-go CVT automatic box.
Simply put, if you wanted a go-fast Vespa with an authentic heritage race livery to match, the Sei Giorni is your best bet. Commanding a base price tag of RM38,000, this is no cheap ask, but true Italian style never came cheap anyways, right?
