This Perodua is 10 times rarer than LaFerrari

The Malaysia Autoshow 2019 is going on now at the Mardi Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) and one of the first cars that will greet you upon entering the main hall is the Perodua Bezza Limited Edition.

The new variant of Perodua’s sole sedan offering is limited in more than just its name – only 50 will go on sale, making it quite a rare car. How rare? Ferrari put a production cap of 500 units on LaFerrari, which means there are 10 units of Maranello’s hypercar for every unit of the Bezza Limited Edition – that’s how rare it is!

Things that set it apart from the regular Bezza include a full GearUp bodykit with red pin stripe on the lower portions, matte black spoiler, a blacked-out roof and dark grey alloys to contrast with the car’s Ivory White paintjob. The sporty exterior is topped off by red wing mirrors and geometric graphics adorning the bonnet and side profile.

Inside, the cabin is dressed up in GearUp seat covers with red stitching – the red theme also prevalent in the air-con vent surrounds and GearUp coil mats.

Unique in numbers it may be, there isn’t anything separating the Bezza Limited Edition from the regular car underneath the heavy make-up. The base car is a Bezza 1.3 Premium X automatic, which would set you back RM41,890 brand new. This makes the Limited Edition quite a steal at RM44,890 – RM3,000 for the extra kit is a bargain for those who appreciate the aftermarket look.

There is a catch, though. Perodua is only accepting orders for the Bezza Limited Edition at its exhibit in MAEPS throughout the motorshow period (11-14 April), so you have till Sunday to snag one, provided they’re not all snapped up by then. The Ferrari can wait.
