Meet the Maserati Grecale 'Mission from Mars'

Maserati has just launched its latest Grecale earlier this week, and there's already a one-off customised version, and judging by the looks, it's completely out of this world. Apparently, Maserati has fulfilled an order from Mars for a very special customer, and we sure hope that it's not an actual Martian.

If it is, then the Martian definitely has good tastes considering that this custom Grecale underwent the brand's Fuoriserie program to create the Maserati Grecale Mission from Mars. FYI, the Maserati Fuoriserie program is basically the brand's way of offering a blank slate for customers to include a wide range of designs and colours for any new Maserati.

Back to the Grecale Mission to Mars model, the Galactic Orange exterior colourway is apparently concocted using a special textured metallic paint that is supposedly inspired by Mars' mineral dust and metal erosion. You can see this beautiful shade of orange on the interior as well.

It's also fitted with a set of special 'Vortex Wheels' designed and built specifically for this one-off Maserati Grecale. To top things off, the wheels' raw surface is finished in a protective yet transparent black ink topcoat and wrapped in grey tyres with a 'special blend dedicated to the planet Mars'.

Other unique features include:

  • Merged Trident badges with glitch effect on the C-pillar
  • 12.3-inch touchscreen with 'outer space connectivity'
  • Star chart on the ceiling
  • Custom interior finish + more

We wonder if a twin-turbocharged V6 SUV with 530hp can be more fun if driven on Mars. The truth is out there, folks.
