The Toyota Veloz GR Limited is a Gazoo Racing Avanza
2021 Toyota Veloz GR Limited launched in Indonesia
This is the Toyota Veloz GR Limited. If it looks familiar, it's because the Veloz is essentially a trim line for the Toyota Avanza in the Philippines and Indonesia. And in the latter, buyers can now spec the compact seven-seater in this GR Limited kit; have a trim line with your trim line, why don't you?
Your eyes don't deceive you. What you're seeing here are legit Gazoo Racing emblems on one of the most utilitarian Toyotas to grace Southeast Asian roads. The GR Limited package is made up of sportier front end with the GR logo slapped proudly on the grille and a GR rear bumper spoiler. The wing mirrors and wheels have been blacked out to match, although the latter seem to be the exact same footwear you'd get in a stock Veloz beneath its new coat of paint.
Apparently, only 3,700 units of the Toyota Veloz GR Limited will be sold. Everything underneath its more festive skin, be it under the hood or in the cabin remain unchanged from the base MPV.
So, what do you think internet? Does the Veloz/Avanza deserve to wear the same emblems as the Toyota Supra or GR Yaris?
