The Hyundai Palisade SUV will be launched this month & bookings are now open

Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors will be launchings its first full-sized SUV for the Malaysian market this month in the form of the new Hyundai Palisade. No price range has been hinted at just yet, but we do know that there will be two different variants to choose from consisting of the seven and eight-seat configurations.

This CBU Hyundai three-rowed SUV is already open for bookings and those who love its new 'Sensuous Sportiness' design concept will surely feel some passion emitting towards the Palisade. Marketed as a premium SUV, the Palisade also comes with an all-LED lighting system, huge panoramic glass, Nappa leather seats, and the industry's first innovative new roof vent diffuser design for better cabin climate control capabilities.

The two variants will also be different in terms of powertrain. The petrol-powered model is fitted with a 3.8-litre V6 engine that produces 296PS and 355Nm of torque while the other variant will come with a diesel-powered 2.2-litre CRDi four-cylinder engine that produces 200PS and 440Nm of torque. Both engines are mated with the same eight-speed automatic transmission with a multi-plate torque converter.

As stated above, there's no indicator of price range posted for the all-new Hyundai Palisade SUV just yet. What we can confirm is that the CBU three-rowed premium SUV will come in two variants and it's going to be officially launched before we roll into 2022. Stay tuned for more updates.
