The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera looks stunning in 'Pentland Green'

By daryl, 01 December 2020

This is how the 715bhp Aston Martin DBS Superleggera looks like in green. And it's not British Racing Green, we should add. The deep emerald hue, that truly does an impeccable job of bringing out the best angles of Gaydon's Super GT, is called Pentland Green. It's a special colour that comes straight out of Aston Martin's Q Heritage Palette Collections, and the very same hue applied to the beguiling exterior of the one-off Aston Martin Victor

Like the Victor, the DBS Superleggera Pentland Green – a customised special for Malaysian customers – gets a tan interior to contrast the colour of its sun-kissed metal. Upholstered in 'Caithness' leather and an Alcantara headlining, the cabin also gets open pore and DBS embroidery on the headrest for a traditionally refined aesthetic that's markedly different from the sporty look we've gotten used to in the DB11's jacked-up twin. Bronze brake calipers and 21-inch 10-spoke forged wheels are also part of the Pentland Green specification package on offer by Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur (AMKL).

In its base form, the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera commands RM1,228,000 before duties and taxes. The Pentland Green customised special bumps that figure up to RM1,450,000 sans on-road costs, which sounds like a decent premium to pay given how well the curated options complement the look of Aston Martin's flagship supercar. On top of its fetching cosmetics, the DBS Superleggera Pentland Green also gets a complimentary 24-month extension on its standard three-year factory warranty. This means the car is protected for five years with scheduled servicing and labour throughout this period bundled in for greater peace of mind.

If you didn't notice, this isn't the first time AMKL has dabbled with the configurator to give customers an idea of how their brand new Aston Martin can look like. The company has given us other interesting creations such as the DBX Intrepid Aura and Vantage Dark Knight Edition in recent months. Which is your favourite and what would you like to see next?
