Suzuki Jimny is coming to Malaysia in August 2021

By sep, 17 May 2021

It looks like we'll be getting the new Suzuki Jimny within the second half of 2021 here in Malaysia, according to the latest reports. The four-wheel brand's latest custodian, Naza Eastern Motors, will be bringing in the little 4x4 sometime in August to follow up on the new Suzuki Swift Sport which was locally launched just last month.

A post by Berita Harian confirmed this together with a statement from one of Naza's Group CEO, Datuk Nik Hamdam Nik Hassan. They've also stated that they'll be bringing in the top-spec Suzuki Jimny and it'll also be a fully-imported CBU unit directly from Japan. The pricing for that is going to be mighty tricky, we reckon.

What's even more amazing is the fact that they've already received close to 20 pre-bookings for the Suzuki Jimny, which shows the cult-following this particular model has not just here in Malaysia, but around the globe. As of now, there's no clear indicator on its official arrival time or even the estimation for its price point, but all of that will hopefully come to light in a few months' time.
