Volvo Car Malaysia has a new 3S centre to add to its local network. The four-storey facility spanning over 50,000sq ft in built-up space is operated by Sime Darby Swedish Auto and is located in Sime Darby Motors City in Ara Damansara, Selangor - no surprises there. 

Built in accordance to the global "Volvo Retail Experience", the new dealership is Volvo's first Malaysian 3S centre to be equipped with a virtual reality (VR) studio and a "reception at counter" bay, the latter essentially a quick inspection bay for fastidious owners to drive into without the hassle of making an appointment. 

The new facility boasts eight air-conditioned repair and service bays, two of which are designated as the aforementioned reception at counter bays. Additionally, all customer parking bays are equipped with an EV charger, which owners of the brand's T8 PHEV models will certainly find handy. 

Volvo Ara Damansara's showroom floor is open seven days a week, including public holidays. Its service centre is open from 8:30AM to 5:30PM on weekdays, and till 12:45PM on Saturdays. With this schedule, the dealership is targeting a service throughput of 396 cars monthly, making the Volvo ownership experience for Klang Valley dwellers a smoother one in the process.
