Shell’s Hari Raya campaign will help positive causes

For the fifth year, Shell has launched their Raya CSR campaign in conjunction with the coming Aidilfitri celebration. To share the spirit of caring and sharing, the 2019 ‘Anda Beli Kami Derma’ campaign will benefit selected NGO organisations which make life better for the community.

For ten days beginning 30 May to 8 June 2019, every one litre of selected Shell fuels pumped will see 1 sen (RM0.01) donated to the National Cancer Society Malaysia, Food Aid Foundation, and Malaysian Nature Society. On top of that, another 1 sen for every 1 ringgit (RM1) spent in all Shell SELECT stores will go to the same organisations (except E-Pay products such as mobile reloads, Touch N Go purchases and other in-store services namely utility payment).

Customers can choose where their contribution will be channelled by submitting either the original or duplicate copy of their purchase receipt at a Shell station and indicate their choice.

Mastercard is joining the campaign in which 1 sen will go to the Food Aid Foundation for every litre of Shell fuel pumped and every RM1 spent at Shell SELECT paid using any Mastercard credit or debit card. Mastercard is a partner for the campaign for the second year running.

The launch of the ‘Anda Beli Kami Derma’ campaign was attended by Datuk Muez Abd.Aziz, Secretary General, Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs, and Shairan Huzani Husain, Managing Director of Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd and Shell Timur Sdn Bhd.
