Shell’s BingoBox provides modern, quick, cashless retail experience

Drop by the Shell station along Jalan Tun Razak and you will notice a new structure within the compound. It’s called the BingoBox, a 24-hour convenience mart that is unmanned utilising cashless payment methods. The BingoBox Retail Technology aims to provide a better customer experience and marks a key milestone in Shell’s retail journey in Malaysia.

How it works is a customer needs to download the BingoBox application first, and use the QR code provided there to enter the BingoBox. Then place items they want to purchase on a checkout counter which will automatically provide the total payment amount. Payment can be made via debit or credit cards, the BingoBox app itself, as well as Boost’s e-wallet. The app is available for download from from the Apple app store and Android’s Google Play Store.
