September is a month of many long weekends, so it’s a good thing that a new issue of TopGear Malaysia is now on sale! 

This month, we pay homage to Ayrton Senna, one of the greatest Formula One drivers to ever grace the tarmac, with a hypercar McLaren deems worthy to carry his name. Yes, we’re talking about the 789bhp McLaren Senna which we took on a 2,400-km road trip from Estoril to Monaco. Now that’s a story. 

Closer to home, we’ve finally had a go at the Ferrari GTC4Lusso T following our stint in the V12-powered version last year and boy was it a cracker. Also tested on Malaysian roads this month are the Volkswagen Golf R, Peugeot 3008 and the BMW R nineT Urban G/S. The last one is a bike in case you’re wondering. And we assure you it looks much cooler than its name suggests. 

To cap it off, we applied the skills gained from the Porsche Media Driving Academy during our second date with the Porsche 911 GT3 and all 500 of its naturally-aspirated horses in the Sepang International Circuit. That’s certainly worth a good long read too.
