Here’s something that’s probably going to be worth watching. With the full support of his family, German production company B|14 Film has created a documentary about seven-time F1 World Champion Michael Schumacher. And you’ll be able to watch it on Netflix from 15 September.

‘SCHUMACHER’ is said to “draw a very sensitive yet critical portrait” of the racing legend, and features interviews with his brother Ralf, wife and children (including Mick, currently competing in F1 for Haas) as well as a number of other F1 drivers and personalities including Jean Todt, Bernie Ecclestone, Sebastian Vettel, Mika Häkkinen and Damon Hill.

“Thanks to rare interviews, never-before-seen archive material and the support of his family, the many facets of his multi-layered personality are shown unfold,” reads the announcement on Schumacher’s website. “The documentary… traces his path from the Kerpen gravel pit to global superstar."

Schumacher, who won 91 grands prix, was involved in a skiing accident in 2013. He has not been seen in public since and little is known about his condition. TG continues to wish Michael and the Schumacher family the very best.
