Renault ramps up online services and promos as MCO continues
Local Renault distributor TC Euro Cars (TCEC) has ramped up its online presence as Malaysia prepares to enter the latest phase of the Movement Control Order (MCO) with updates to its Renault Subscription and E-Store offerings.
On the subscription front, TCEC is making the Trial Plan, which is essentially a weekly subscription of the Captur at RM399 per week, accessible at all showrooms nationwide. This is particularly useful for Malaysians who need a car to use over an extended period but are unable to make long-term financial commitments due to the current economic climate. The Switch and Prime plans have also been updated to include the Captur Trophy (RM1,999 per month) and Koleos (RM3,199 per month) respectively. More details are available at TCEC’s subscription portal.
If you prefer purchasing a brand new car outright, the Renault E-Store is offering rebates equal to six months’ worth of instalments until 31 May 2020. There are also offers for five years free service and trade-in rewards worth up to RM8,000 among others. These promotions run in line with TCEC’s ongoing initiatives to ease the burdens of its owners throughout this difficult period.
All of these announcements were made in a virtual media gathering held in-line with TCEC’s aggressive digital endeavours. And there’s more to come. Renault Subscription customers can look forward to a dedicated mobile app capable of location tracking, locking and unlocking the vehicle and car sharing among other connected features. This app is scheduled to launch in June 2020, hopefully as a modern alternative to car ownership than a norm forced by the need for continued social distancing.
