Now that we’ve covered the newly refreshed CX-3, here’s a quick overview of the refreshed Mazda6 saloon that Bermaz previewed alongside it.
Like the CX-3, the new Mazda6 also gets a slight exterior nip and tuck, especially in the higher spec variants. Redesigned here are the LED headlights, taillights, both its 17- and 19-inch alloy wheels, front bumper with new cooling vents, as well as the rear bumper with a new chrome finish and restyled tailpipes.
On board, the new Mazda6 gets a widened new dash design complete with a larger new 8-inch MZD connect touchscreen display that also mounted lower now, wider front seats, newly added USB port in the rear armrest, as well as a new full-colour HUD system that now projects on the windscreen instead of the outgoing model’s flip-up screen.
Notably, there are four variants of this CBU offering in total now, with the base 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel variants offered exclusively in sedan form, whilst the 2.5-litre variant gets both sedan and Touring estate options. A total of seven colour choices will be made available for this flagship saloon as well.
As this is just a preview, Bermaz remains coy about pricing at the moment pending an official announcement at a later date. In the meantime, if all these refreshments look tasty to you, Bermaz are accepting orders through authorised dealers nationwide now.
The price for the refreshed Mazda6 is... the same as before. That means the 2.0L sedan is RM156,190.60, the 2.5L sedan RM189,698.47, while the 2.5L Touring is RM193,472.06.
