Refreshed Honda BR-V now available

Honda Malaysia have announced the availability of the its refreshed BR-V 7-seater offering today – three months after the firm initially opened up the order books for it.

As before, two variants are available – a basic E and a full-fledge V – and both now come loaded with an enhanced list of on board features over its previous iteration.

Key visual changes include a restyled front and rear bumpers, new 16-inch alloy wheels design, plus the addition of shark fin antennae. Notable in this 2020 model year refreshment is the availability of a new Marine Purple Pearl paint option, making it the first in Honda's current line up to have it.

On board, Honda have blessed the cabin with plenty of new bits. Highlights include an uprated hi-fi system matched with a brand new 7-inch infotainment display unit,new red accents for the leather seats and shifter knob, automatic air conditioning, the presence of a new cabin filter, not forgetting keyless entry and ignition, as well as paddle-shift transmission controls.

The 1.5-litre 4cyl and CVT automatic powertrain package remains unchanged, as is the standard safety package that includes ABS, electronic stability control (VSA) and dual airbags up front.

The last change can been seen in the price tags of both variants, with the basic BR-V 1.5E now commanding RM89,900 onwards and the range-topping BR-V 1.5V now retailing from RM96,900 onwards.
