The Piaggio 1 e-scooter is an eco and budget-friendly option for fellow youngsters living in the city

The Piaggio 1 was recently unveiled as the brand's latest electric scooter for the urban environment. Targeted for young individuals living in congested cities, the unveiling was done via the brand's TikTok page (because that's how you reach today's youth) and the design is actually quite clever in our books.

With prices starting from £2500 (around RM14k), the Piaggio 1 is available in three different options which are differentiated with its overall power output. The base Piaggio 1 comes with a 1.2kW electric motor that's able to hit a top speed of 45km/h and a range of 55km in ECO mode (48km in Sport) thanks to its 1.4kWh battery capacity.

Then there's the Piaggio 1+ with a slightly bigger battery pack (2.3kWh, same as the Piaggio 1 Active) which can basically cover around 100km in a single charge (around six hours for a full charge). The range-topping Piaggio 1 Active comes with a 2kW motor that can hit a higher top speed of 60km/h with a range of 85km in ECO mode (66km in Sport).

All versions come with a removable battery pack where owners can conveniently charge in the house or at the office. Other specs include:
