Peugeot's new management under Berjaya Auto Alliance takes shape

Peugeot's changing of the guard in the Malaysian market is finally taking shape with new custodian Berjaya Auto Alliance (BAASB) finally announcing its key management line-up. The new team will be spearheaded by managing director Datuk Wong Kin Foo, an industry veteran who was most recently the director for Bermaz Motor. 

Fellow Bermaz mainstays Michael Chen and Ian Khong have also been appointed to lead sales and marketing initiatives respectively while former Mercedes-Benz Malaysia vice president of aftersales Michael Moh assumes a similar role for Peugeot at BAASB. 

The BAASB board is made up of senior officials from Berjaya Corporation and Bermaz Auto. Among its members are Berjaya Corporation CEO Datuk Sri Robin Tan as well as Datuk Sri Ben Yeoh and Datuk Francis Lee of Bermaz Auto. The company is currently based in the group's headquarters in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, with plans for expanding the Peugeot brand locally scheduled for the near future.
