The Perodua showroom at Mid Valley run by DMM Sales Sdn. Bhd. has been relocated to Menara MBMR, Jalan Syed Putra. Yup, that’s just around the corner but this move allows for the company to grow further. In fact, this move may double its sales capacity in addition to giving focus to customer satisfaction. DMM Sales is one of Daihatsu Malaysia’s subsidiaries and has been in operation since January 1995 currently with 17 sales dealerships in Malaysia. On top of that, they also operate 13 service centres and two body & paint outlets.

“This new sales showroom, which has a built-up area of 6,900 sq. ft., is more than twice the size compared to our previous location, allowing an airier and more spacious showroom floor,” said Daihatsu (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. chairman En Aqil Tan Sri Ahmad Azizuddin.

DMM Sales Sdn Bhd has contributed an average of 10.6 per cent to Perodua’s annual sales for the past five years. Menara MBMR is also home to MBM Resources Berhad, an automotive group with diverse investments in the automotive industry and the major motor trading shareholder for Daihatsu (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.

Malaysia Automotive Association (MAA) data shows that Perodua has sold 187,731 vehicles from January to October this year, which is an 11 per cent increase from the same period last year with 168,071 sold vehicles. In relation to the January-October 2018 TIV of 502,244 units, Perodua’s market share currently stands at 37.4 per cent.
