Perodua now taking orders for 2020 Bezza facelift

Malaysia's leading carmaker Perodua has followed up on a series of spyshots and speculations of the upcoming 2020 Bezza facelift by officially opening the order books to the sole sedan offering in its catalogue.

Three trim lines are available for the revised Bezza, starting with the 1.0G before moving up to the 1.3X and range-topping 1.3AV. All variants are equipped with a four-speed automatic, with the 1.0G being the only model to offer a five-speed manual as an alternative.

Updated aesthetics teased in Perodua's video (below) aside - substantially reworked front end featuring LED headlights and new instrument clusters included - the 2020 Bezza welcomes new features such as 15-inch alloys and ASA 2.0 in the 1.3AV.

In case you've forgotten, ASA 2.0 is made up of Pedestrian Detection (up to 50kph), Pre-Collision Warning (up to 100kph, Pre-Collision Braking (up to 80kph), Front Departure Alert and Pedal Misoperation Control. The 1.3X, which misses out on these features, is also a slightly safer product now that it's finally endowed with VSC and traction control.

In terms of price, the Perodua Bezza 1.0G gets the ball rolling at RM34,580 for the manual and RM36,580 for the automatic. The 1.3X is priced at RM43,980 while the 1.3AV tops out at RM49,890.
