PDRM is offering up to 50% discount for traffic summonses

By sep, 17 June 2021

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) traffic department will start its latest campaign tomorrow by offering discounts up to 50% for traffic summonses when you do so online. This campaign is set to start tomorrow (18 June 2021) and will last until 18 July 2021 and it's applicable for both individuals and companies.

The summonses applicable for this discount included in this campaign offer are selectable compoundable fines as well as some in the blacklist category. However, cases involving going to court, main offenses committed in 2021 (including heavy vehicles), as well as exhaust modifications are NOT included in this particular campaign.

Members of the public can register via PDRM's official online portal at https://mybayar.rmp.gov.my/ or download the MyBayar Saman app through Google Play, Huawei's AppGallery, or Apple's App Store. PDRM has also mentioned that the smartphone app has now been updated to accomodate both individuals and companies to register and settle their fines online.

If you have any unsettled fines that fall under this new campaign, you may want to take the advantage to save some money throughout the offer period. Since it's Full MCO now, all physical counters to settle traffic summones are closed to combat the widespread of COVID-19 here in the country.
