Ooooh, it’s a Lamborghini Aventador S art car

The man you see in a couple of the images below is American street artist Skyler Grey. Mr Grey has pretty mad talent for the whole drawing and painting business. So much so, in fact, that Lamborghini gave him an Aventador S to paint for the Monterey Car Week in California.

It looks pretty wild right? As all Lamborghinis should in our eyes. What a shame, though, that they didn’t give him time to finish painting the bonnet.

In extremely disheartening news, Grey is only 19 years old and has already been named in the Forbes “30 under 30” list of the most influential artists worldwide.

His pop-style street art has seen people in the know (not us) draw comparisons to both Keith Haring and Andy Warhol. There’s also a cheeky nod to Warhol on Grey’s Aventador, with Lambo’s bull running from a Campbell’s soup can. There’s a sentence we never thought we’d write.

The whole project took nearly a year to complete and has been connected with Lamborghini’s new Sant’Agata paint shop. It’ll be on display over the next few days at Monterey, but its already been bought by an art collector apparently.

Let’s just hope that lucky buyer uses their 730bhp, V12-engined canvas for its original purpose.
