OMODA 5 win awards in Mexico, Qatar

Still fresh from its full five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, the OMODA 5 continues its wave of international recognition. The first product under Chery’s new global OMODA series was recently awarded ‘Best Mid-sized Crossover Vehicle’ by Autoshow TV of Mexico, as well as the 2022 Auto Award, to become the biggest winner at the awards.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, the Qatar Automobile Association bestowed upon the OMODA 5 the ‘Best Science and Technology SUV Award’, adding to the vehicle’s numerous accolades and further cementing its global acceptance.

Future technology and trendy design are at the OMODA 5’s very core, helping it determinedly target young global trendsetters and their desire to be ahead of the curve. The ‘Art in Motion’ design language plays with light and shadow to result in a dynamic appearance that contains a free and fashionable travel space independent of the real world. The futuristic SUV has also been well-received by the sporting community – most recently by the members of the Maccabi Tel Aviv Basketball Club, which has won the European Champions six times and the ‘Treble Winners’ five times. Among other praises, the members deemed it “a beautiful, comfortable and powerful vehicle” and liked most that it “is equipped with full voice control with a warm and comfortable riding experience”.

As the OMODA 5 continues to set its sights on more of the world’s markets, Malaysia included, the OMODA brand will be taken to new heights globally, in order to continue serving the needs and wants of the youth of today and tomorrow.
