Early last month, we posted that the Japanese auction house, BH Auction, was negotiating an auction for a very special and rare GT-R, the Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec II Nür. Only 1,000 units were ever produced, and only 700 made their way to fellow sales rep around the globe. Now, it seems one has popped up for sale here in Malaysia, but the asking price is just as awesome.
The folks from Mutiara Motors has put up a Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec II Nür for sale. Dressed in one of the original factory colours of JW0 Millenium Jade (only 156 units were finished in this particular colourway), it's definitely a fine-looking example, even more so now in the year 2021. This unit has gone through a few 'upgrades' compared to the stock version, and to be fully honest, it could've been kept better considering how rare these babies are.
For those of you who are interested, all Nür models are equipped with an upgraded RB26DETT based on the N1 race engine thanks to a couple of bigger turbochargers to handle bigger boost. It's also the only Skyline R34 GT-R model ever to be fitted with the gold valve colours (also based on the N1 race engine) which altogether produces allegedly around 330hp.
Outside of Malaysia, we're assuming that most of these models would cost around the RM2 million mark, even more so if it's a super clean unit with close to zero mileage on them. Then again, it's arguably one of the rarest Skyline GT-Rs ever, and we wouldn't think twice about spending that amount (if we had RM2 million to spare). Impressive? Yes. Ridiculously priced? For sho'. Do we want one? Absolutely.
