Nissan reopens all showrooms and service outlets

By topgear, 14 May 2020

issan vanguards Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) have restarted its operations starting today. This means all Nissan showrooms and service centres nationwide have reopened their doors for customers, albeit with certain restrictions in place.

In accordance with the Government's mandate, procedures being practiced at all Nissan showrooms now include temperature checks upon entry, the requirement for staff and visitors to don face masks, the distribution of face masks, gloves and hand sanitizer, as well as practising safe social distancing.

ETCM adds that regular disinfection works of customer vehicles before and after service, and common touchpoints in and around premises are being practiced too. The firm further notes the preference for contactless payment methods as well.

Members of the public may check the revised showroom and service centre operating hours online at nissan.com.my or tceas.com respectively. Besides that, ETCM also added its vehicle registrations and deliveries will resume progressively once JPJ resumes additional services this week.

Apart from this, ETCM says customers unable to visit any of their outlets can now submit an online form for further enquiries and even request doorstep test drive appointments. Within 24 hours of submission, a dedicated Nissan sales representative will be in contact for further arrangements.
