The local Vespa line up sees an update following the launch of a trio of new models by distributor Naza Premira Sdn Bhd earlier today in Sunway Pyramid, Petaling Jaya. Say hello to the new Primavera S 150, Sprint S 150 and S125 Carbon Edition.
Both the Primavera S 150 and Sprint S 150 now supersedes the Primavera and Sprint models offered previously. The S125 Carbon Edition, on the other hand, lands as a newly added variant next to the existing S125 model it underpins.

2019 Vespa Sprint S 150
Like before, both the refreshed Primavera and Sprint models share the same 150cc i-Get single cylinder powerplant and twist-and-go CVT automatic drivelines, the latter managing the former’s 12.9hp and 12.8Nm outputs.
Apart for the ‘S’ suffix in their names, both the new Primavera and Sprint benefit with light exterior refreshments too. Highlights include new designs for the 12-inch wheels it rolls on, as well as several redesigned chrome and grey exterior trims.
Both models still offer a single-channel ABS suite (front) as standard, and a range of new colour options have been readied too. As for price, the Primavera S 150 and the Sprint S 150 commands RM16,400* and RM17,400* respectively (base prices).

2019 Vespa S125 Carbon Edition (White Innocenza)
Moving on to the S125 Carbon Edition and, aptly, this variant gets treated with Vespa’s sportier and darker carbon exterior trims to set it apart from the entry-level base model.
It still comes powered using Piaggio group’s 125cc iteration of its i-Get single-cylinder mill with twist-and-go CVT automatic driveline pairing, the latter managing the 10.1hp and 10.2Nm of twist the former puts out.
Available in two colour choices and rolling on 11-inch alloy wheels, the S125 Carbon Edition retails from RM12,500 (base price) onwards.
Members of the public keen to take a closer look of all three models can do so during the on-going Vespa Malaysia roadshow. The roadshow takes place along Sunway Pyramid’s Central Avenue throughout this week until this Sunday (Aug 11).
