Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello teased with 'active' aerodynamics

They've teased us with the Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello, set for launch in November at EICMA

Those who have been following Moto Guzzi know that it is celebrating its 100th anniversary in the motorcycle business. It's a big occasion and to celebrate, they've teased a very special model called the Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello.

They've basically revealed what the V100 Mandello will look like - a machine that features a modern-retro facade mixed with the brand's futuristic specs. We've also heard that it'll run a new V-twin engine with state-of-the-art water cooling capabilities (just look at the size of that front radiator).

This retro-looking sport-tourer will also feature some 'active' aerodynamic parts in the form of moving body panels. Moto Guzzi has yet to explain what these flaps will do, but we reckoned that it'll provide some extra comfort and wind protection when riders are blasting it down the highway.

We also believe that Moto Guzzi will stuff the V100 Mandello with all the latest electronic riding aids from selectable traction control, cornering ABS, Brembo brakes, Pirelli Diablo Rosso rubbers, and many more. Cruise control might also be thrown in, but maybe a radar-operated unit might be possible thanks to the big front end of it.

Anyway, the Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello will be officially revealed at EICMA 2021 this coming November. For now, the teaser of the lovely bike featuring two different colour options should suffice, but we're also confident that there will be more new models to accompany the Mandello.
