Mitsubishi Connect MY mobile app now updated with new features

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM), the official distributor of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles in Malaysia has recently made improvements to the Mitsubishi Connect MY mobile application (app).

Before this, the mobile app already enables Mitsubishi owners to book a service appointment, receive service appointment reminders and check service histories. Now, the mobile app allows Mitsubishi owners to drop their cars at the service centre and continue to wait at the comfort of their homes as the app provides service status notifications of their vehicle and when it is ready for collection.

Keeping track of the vehicle’s service cost and warranty details is a tedious affair. The mobile app keeps owners informed about their upcoming service cost estimation and warranty details for ease of planning. In addition, road tax and insurance renewal reminders will also be notified through the app.

Additionally, Mitsubishi owners can request roadside assistance in a breakdown or accident using the SOS Trace & Track feature. By tapping on the ‘SOS’ function on the app, the user’s location can be tracked accurately using a GPS locator and its details will be verified by a customer service personnel from Mitsubishi Motors to send help immediately.

According to Tomoyuki Shinnishi, Chief Executive Officer of MMM, the company’s effort to strengthen digital technology continues to be one of the emphases offering comprehensive customer-centric online strategies for the safety and convenience of its customers during this pandemic.

“Besides technology for improving customer’s convenience, the safety of our customers and staff is also our utmost priority. With the enhancements of the Mitsubishi Connect MY mobile app together with the Mitsubishi Online Showroom, we want to assure our customers that we are engaging with them through a seamless journey from purchase to ownership in a safe environment,” said Tomoyuki.
 

Furthermore, other useful functions of the Mitsubishi Connect MY include staying in touch with the Mitsubishi Assist 24-hour customer careline (MA24) reachable at 1-800-88-2166.

Owners can also access 24-hour breakdown assistance throughout Malaysia as well as emergency services should the situation arise.

Mitsubishi Connect MY can also be used to locate the nearest Mitsubishi authorized dealer showroom and service centres with dealer information and navigation sync with the app to help get customers to the dealer of their choice or convenience. 

The mobile app is available for download via Google Play Store and Apple App Store for free.
