MINI 60 Years Edition Now Available - RM255,888
The MINI brand’s 60th anniversary celebrations are still going strong both globally and locally, the latter bolstered by the recent introduction of the MINI 60 Years Edition this week.
Aptly, this is a special, limited edition version of the existing MINI 3-door hatchback. This special stands apart firstly thanks to its two special colourway options are available – British Racing Green with Pepper White roof and mirror caps, followed by a Melting Silver option matched with Jet Black roof and mirror caps.
Said special colourway gets matched with a signature set of bonnet stripes with Aspen White and British Oak pinstripes. Other additional exclusive features include matching themed Logo Projection system door sills, Walknappa leather steering wheel, Dark Maroon cabin, and the exclusive “60 Years Spoke 2-tone” 17-inch alloy wheels.
Opt for 60 Years Chilli equipment package and the car is brimmed further with LED headlights, LED fog lamps, white turn indicators, and LED rear lights in the Union Jack design. Of note too is a selectable ambient lighting and MINI Connected’s suite that’s available in the Excitement Package.
As expected, this special is mechanically identical to the Cooper S variant of the 3-door hatch it underpins, harnessing a 2.0-litre TwinPower turbo 4-cyl that’s good for 192hp and 280Nm, which in turn grants 0-100kph in a brisk 6.7 secs and 235kph V-Max.
This being an anniversary special, just 60 units have been allocated for the local market, warranting an equally special price tag of RM255,888 each as well (excluding insurance).
Owners who purchase the MINI 60 Years Edition before 31st August 2019 will benefit with a special 60 Months MINI Service + Repair Inclusive programme. This package delivers a 60-month or 80,000km free scheduled service and a 60-month, unlimited mileage warranty coverage.
Purchases made after said deadline will still benefit with MINI’s regular 4 Years Unlimited Mileage Warranty with Free Scheduled Service instead.
