Point us to the road that heads to Mexico please because there’s the kind of sale that we like happening there. According to Reuters, the Mexican government is auctioning various assets seized from gangsters and ‘at least one former politician’. It’s part of a ‘Robin Hood’ plan to get millions and aid the poor. Yes, among the items to under the hammer are supercars.

“Before, this worked like a reverse Robin Hood… taking from the people and giving to the corrupt. Not anymore,” said Mexico president Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador as quoted by the news agency.

Among the vehicles listed to be sold – which reportedly started yesterday – includes Porsches, Corvettes, Mercedes, a Mustang and a Lamborghini Murcielago. There are 77 vehicles in total for $1.5 million.

Being cynical, you’d have to ask whether this president is for real? Well, he is known to drive around in a VW Jetta, if that says anything.
