Mercedes-Benz Malaysia's new sales & marketing boss clocks in

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has announced the appointment Michael Jopp as the company's new Head of Sales & Marketing. Jopp takes over from Mark Raine, who has since been assigned as the Vice President of Product & Marketing at Mercedes-Benz Korea after four energetic years in Malaysia. 

Prior to landing in Kuala Lumpur, Jopp was the Vice President of Sales & Marketing in India. His three-year stint there was a successful one as Mercedes-Benz India topped the JD Power Sales Satisfaction ranking and ended 2018 as the best-selling luxury carmaker in the country for the fourth consecutive year. These are but a few highlights in Jopp's 20-year career in the automotive industry, much of which associated with Daimler and Mercedes-Benz in Germany.

Outside work, we're told that Jopp enjoys playing golf and travelling. We surely hope he enjoys his time in Malaysia.
