Melaka people, there’s a full-fledged 3S Volvo showroom in the state now. It is located on Jalan Tun Sri Lanang and operated by Seong Hoe Motors Sdn. Bhd. which has extensive experience of close to 50 years in the automotive trade.

“Volvo’s reputation of delivering high-quality luxury cars equipped with segment-leading technologies has garnered the brand a tremendous following here. We are very happy to represent the brand and service that demand,” said Chua Beng Poh, chief executive officer of the Seong Hoe Motors.

The new dealership follows the Volvo Retail Experience (VRE) standard which puts emphasis on various aspects of operating the business, including the look and feel of the showroom to the quality of service rendered. VRE is also a key factor in the transformation programme championed by Volvo Car Malaysia managing director, Lennart Stegland which started two years ago.

“We are focusing on creating a consistent consumer experience that reflects our core values. It is important that we maintain the Scandinavian-inspired appeal of our cars in our showrooms and the service centres as well,” said Stegland.

The 3S (Sales, Service, Spare parts) centre in Melaka has six service bays which is fully equipped to service all models including the latest T8 plug-in hybrid models that include the XC90, XC60, and S90 T8.
