Look at these two special edition Alpine A110s

In the absence of a new car to promote – it seems we’ll have to wait a bit longer for the production version of the SportsX Concept, folks – Alpine has given the world a couple more special-edition A110s to salivate over.

First up is the Légende GT, the poshest, plushest A110 to-date. Limited to 400 cars worldwide and available in a choice of three colours, none especially bright, the Légende features pale gold detailing (including the alloys), clear-finish LED taillights and fetching tan leather upholstery among other things. You even get a luggage set, finished in the same leather as the seats, and carbon-fibre trim with a special copper weave.

It’s a nice item, and so it should be for €69,300 (approx. RM323,560). Mechanically it’s based on the normal A110 (246bhp, 0-100kph in 4.5, 251kph), though you get the normally optional Brembo brakes and sports exhaust as standard. We like it, a lot.

The A110 Colour Edition, meanwhile, is based on the A110S (288bhp, 0-100kph in 4.4, 260kph). There will be a new Colour Edition every year, each one a different colour, and each strictly limited production. This year’s is yellow – a reimagining of the classic Alpine colour Jaune Tournesol, or ‘sunflower yellow’. Available until the end of this year, it costs €71,000 (approx. RM331,496). Which is a lot of money, though both cars will cost around £60,000 (approx RM321,651) when they arrive in the UK.

Either one take your fancy?
