Honda HR-V RS now with black interior

You certainly remember the Honda HR-V RS, right? It was officially launched last January and looked brilliant because of its sporty bodykit and its white (officially, Ivory) leather. Well, say goodbye to that because it has been replaced with plain ol’ black leather upholstery. Why? Customer feedback, of course. That means you.

The new black interior is fitted out in the centre console, front panel, driver and passenger seat (front and rear), as well as door panel lining. Pity, that Ivory colour gave the interior a very large and classy feel, and perhaps should still be made available as an option. But that’s just not how things go with mass market passenger vehicles.

In any case, Honda Malaysia has received over 12,200 bookings for the HR-V, with over 7,000 already in the hands of customers. In relation to sales expectations, the compact SUV is already close to 60 per cent of reaching its annual target in just four months. The RS variant – the latest member in the HR-V family together with the Hybrid – comprises about 20 per cent of total HR-V sales.

The New HR-V is available in 5 colour options namely Passion Red Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Ruse Black Metallic, and White Orchid Pearl.
