EV enthusiast! Hold your drinks cause the Mazda MX-30 will be made available locally in the very near future.
This model includes a part of Mazda’s Sustainable Zoom-Zoom 2030 vision of achieving carbon neutrality through the development of new technologies and new products with some form of electrification, the first being the Mazda MX-30. The “2020 Red Dot Design” winner will be available very soon for public viewing as well.
The Mazda MX-30 offers a creative time and space that settles your mind when you get in. With its unique freestyle doors, ecological materials and right-sized battery giving a range of approximately 199km, the Mazda MX-30 marks another positive step in Mazda’s multi-solution approach to reducing emissions following the introduction of the innovative e-SkyActiv powertrain.
The MX-30 ‘s design is also based on which Mazda terms it as “Human Modern” and challenged the development of a new method of expression for Kodo – Soul of Motion design. The exterior is uncompromisingly simple to emphasize the vehicle’s beauty as a solid mass. The MX-30’s styling creates a friendly appearance, while the cabin has a sense of oneness, flowing from the top of A pillar to the rear end. The color of the framed top roof makes this feeling even clearer. The freestyle doors give the Mazda MX-30 a distinctive and elegant cabin silhouette, as well as providing customers with easier access to both the front and rear seats.
The interior aims to give occupants a sense of “bathing in openness,” with its floating console and the introduction of ecofriendly materials such as vegan leather and the environmentally sourced cork featured in the floating center console which provides creative storage space.
Like every other Mazda, the Mazda MX-30 provides a very natural and responsive driving feel by accelerating, turning and braking exactly as you intend in everyday driving situations. The Mazda MX-30 front-wheel drive powertrain technology provides an output of 107 kW (143 hp) and a maximum torque of 271Nm. With new Mazda’s all-new electrification technology, the Mazda MX-30 uses an electric motor and a 35.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack which gives a driving range of approximately 199km. This newly enhanced powertrain of the SkyActiv-Vehicle Architecture helps the crossover to provide great driving dynamics and experience.
